Day 1:

Arrival in Milan, then transfer to Como and meeting with the guide for a visit of the city, famous for its gothic cathedral and the pedestrian path along the lake. In the evening transfer to the hotel for the dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 2: 

Breakfast, meeting with the guide and departure for “Villa Carlotta”, located on the lake’ shores. It is famous for the art collection and the vast botanic garden which surrounds it. Then we will continue towards “Villa del Balbianello”, which stands in Lavedo peninsula, plunged in a lush vegetation with steep stone walls on the water. Lunch in a panoramic restaurant. In the afternoon departure for Bellagio, a town known for its paved alleys,  the elegant buildings and the park of Villa Serbelloni, a terraced garden with a lake view. In the evening back to the hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.

 

Day 3: 

Breakfast, departure for Lecco and meeting with the private guide. Visit of the town, known for being the place where the writer Alessandro Manzoni set the famous romance “I Promessi Sposi”. Afterwards, lunch in a scenic restaurant and transfer to Bergamo.

 

Day 4:

Breakfast and visit of Bergamo city center, then  departure for Milano Malpensa.

 

Possibility to add 1 more day in Milan or a tour of the northern lakes.
