The medieval villages of Dozza and Brisighella will take us back in time!

Dozza is internationally-known for its Biennial of Contemporary Art “Il Muro dipinto” (The Painted Walls). Since 1960, artists are invited to paint the houses of this small medieval village between Emilia and Romagna which is also one of the “Borghi più belli d’Italia” (The most beautiful villages of Italy).

After a nice walking to admire the beautiful paintings, we will visit the castle and taste typical regional wines in the ancient cellars of the castle housing the Enoteca Regionale dell’Emilia Romagna.  The Enoteca Regionale with the biggest permanent wine exhibition of the Region covering around 1,000 square metres with almost 800 different wines produced by around 200 wineries and co-operatives.

The tour will continue with the visit of Brisighella, a very nice medieval town. The medieval quarter has an unusual silhouette, surrounded by three rocky pinnacles topped by the rocca, an unusual clock tower, and a sanctuary. Brisighella is also famous for the production of a great oliv oil, and we will have the possibility to visit in exclusive an oliv oil producer, discover how they produce it and finally have a tasting accompanied by typical products!
