A tour suggested for food lovers. You will taste all the Emilian food specialities, visiting the most important food factories (Parmigiano Reggiano, culatello, the traditional vinegar, pasta and ice-cream). You will also take part in a fun cooking class.

DAY 1: Visit an historical bakery and taste or famous “Gelato”

Arrival at Bologna airport and transfer by private bus to Bologna city centre. Tasting of regional specialities  in some historic bakeries situated in the heart of the city. Here we will taste some typical cold cuts and some glasses of local wines. In the afternoon a mouth-watering trip to a worldwide famous gelato museum and gelato university. It will follow a gelato tasting and a final toast. Finally we will have the pleasure to have dinner in an ancient “bottega”  opened in 1981

 

DAY 2:Visit a cheese factory and a famous culatello producer and enjoy a delicious lunch, have dinner at a famous “Sfoglina” home and feel like a real Bolognese

We will visit a dairy, located just outside the city of Modena where we will try different types of cheese. Right after the dairy we will move to a world famous pasta factory. It will follow a lunch in an ancient  Court in the immediate proximity of Parma. There, after a luxurious lunch we will have the pleasure to discover the culatellos’s cellars and vegetables gardens surrounding the Court. In the afternoon we will learn the process of making vinegar in a real Acetaia. By night a tasteful dinner will wait for us in a private house owned by a delightful woman who will cook just for us some Bolognese’s specialities.

 

DAY 3:Keep in touch with a Mora romagnola’s breeding

We will leave Bologna in the morning in order to reach the city of Ravenna, the capital city of mosaics. Here we will have lunch in a historic winery where we will experience a taste of local cold cuts, piadine and other specialities. Then we will move to a farm in the proximity of the city where we will enjoy a jeep tour into a local Mora romagnola’s breeding. By night we will conclude our day with a supper in a ancient restaurant.

 

DAY 4: enjoy an amazing cooking class and visit the painted village of Dozza

In the morning we will have the possibility to discover all the Bolognese cooking secrets with an amazing cooking class. Then  we will move  towards Dozza, a painted and lovely village in the neighbourhood of Bologna where a taste of regional wines will attend us in a local winery.

 

DAY 5: free time in Bologna and departure

We will enjoy some spare time and we will reach the Bologna airport.
