Day 1:

Guided tour around Castelgandolfo: Villanova’s Church, Bernini’s square and fountain. A walk to discover the volcanic origin lake of Albano. In the afternoon, we will proceed towards Albano, Genzano and the picturesque village of Nemi. Here, in a historical “norcineria” (a place used exclusively for the processing and the sale of pigmeat, typical of Umbria, Toscana, Marche and Lazio) you will taste the characteristic and traditional products of the region, such as “porchetta”, sausages, cheeses and homemade bread, served with a DOC wine. Dinner and overnight stay in the castles area.

Day 2:

Breakfast and departure for Frascati, where it is possible to admire the magnificent Tuscolane Villas. Then Grottaferrata, famous for the Basilica of San Nilo and Marino and the medieval village of Saint Lucia, where the grape festival takes place. Wine-tasting in a local cellar. Then we will proceed towards Ariccia for a typical lunch in a “Fraschetta Romana” (a particular location intended for the consumption of wine and salty food). Visit of the park and Chigi Palace in Ariccia, an exemple of baroque art.

Day 3:

Breakfast and departure for Tivoli, famous for the villas and the incredibly rich gardens animated by waterfalls and waterworks.
