Day 1 Milan

Arrival at Milan airport and transfer to Milan city center to visit the famous capital of fashion.

We will visit the “Duomo”, “Galleria Vittorio Emanuele” and also we will have time to see the “Teatro alla Scala” and then “Castello Sforzesco”. In the afternoon we will visit the well-known “Quartiere dei Navigli” that during the aperitif time is full of young people. Free dinner and accommodation.

DAY 2: Lago Maggiore – Stresa – Arona – Pallanza

After breakfast in hotel we will join Lake Maggiore. Thanks to the richness of Borromeo’s family, the little villages around the lake were decorated with churches and paintings, and lovely villas and gardens were built. We will have the chance to visit some of those villages such as Arona, Pallanza and finally Stresa. If you want we can also take the cable car and reach the top of the “Monte Mottarone” in 20 minutes, where we can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and its islands. Free dinner and accommodation.

DAY 3: Borromee Islands

Today we will visit the famous “Isole Borromee”, we will discover “Isola Madre” with its gardens, “Isola dei Pescatori” populated only by 35 residents who are completely dedicate to fishing and finally “Isola Bella” with its precious palace and paradise garden. At the end of the visit we will go back to Stresa and we will have free dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 Lago d’Orta

Breakfast and transfer to an hidden jewel, Lago d’Orta, probably the most romantic lake of Italy with its carachteristic village of Orta San Giulio with its beautiful Piazza Motta, surrounded by beautiful palaces and arcades, with narrow streets and beautiful shops and restaurants. Here we will take a boat than in 5 minutes will keep us to the island of San Giulio, called the island of silence for a nice walk and a visit to the church. After some free time for lunch we will transfer to Como. Dinner in city center and overnight in hotel.

DAY 5: Como lake and its Villas

Breakfast, meeting with the guide in hotel and departure for “Villa Carlotta”, placed on lake’ shores and famous for its art collection conserved inside and for its vast botanic garden which surrounds it. Then we will continue towards the “Villa del Balbianello”, which stands in Lavedo peninsula, plunged in a luxuriant vegetation with steep stone walls on the water. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon boarding and departure for Bellagio, a town known for its paved alleys, the elegant buildings and the park of Villa Serbelloni, a terraced garden with lake view. In the evening back to the hotel in Como for the dinner and accommodation.

Day 6: Lecco and Iseo

After breakfast, departure for Lecco and visit of the town, known for being the place where the writer Alessandro Manzoni set the romance “I Promessi Sposi”. After lunch, transfer to Iseo, dinner and accommodation.

Day 7: Iseo lake – Montisola – Peschiera del Garda

Today we will visit the Lake Iseo that became famous to the world for the work of

Christ called “The Floating Piers”. We will visit the peaceful and fascinating Monte Isola, considered the pearl of the lake. At the end of the visit, transfer to Peschiera del Garda in Garda Lake, dinner and accommodation.

DAY 8: LAKE GARDA-LAZISE-BARDOLINO-GARDAPESCHIERA DEL GARDA

Today we will enjoy Garda lake, the biggest lake in Italy and one of the principal tourists center in the north part of the country. We will take the boat to visit Lazise, Bardolino and Garda and also enjoy the picturesque view. In the late afternoon return to Peschiera del Garda. Free dinner and accommodation.

Day 9: Peschiera del Garda – Milan

Free time in Peschiera del Garda for some shopping time and then we will transfer to Milan Malpensa to take our flight.
